Yorkshire’s biggest LGBT night out and a Sheffield classic, this monthly night is held at the university of Sheffield’s student union but welcomes people of all ages, regardless of whether you are a student or not – and the crowd is mixed. Expect to find themed parties, the latest chart hits, great drinks deals and a fun night out all in a place that won’t judge and where you can be 100% yourself.
A Sheffield institution, this club at the bottom of The Moor is known for its late opening times (they also serve breakfast?), its dance floor cage (yes, you’ll find yourself in it) and no frills vibe. Sheffield has seen many gay bars come and go but Dempsey’s and Climax have remained a constant. Plus they serve Lambrini bottles with straws so frankly, what is there not to love?
Sheffield’s latest addition to the gay scene, OMG is located on the party stretch that is West Street and a welcome addition to the city centre. With a big dance floor and a stage at the heart of the club you’ll find yourself dancing to pop and chart tunes. They also do a cabaret night!

Pride Sheffield is an annual free festival bringing together the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans* and Non-binary community and their friends, families and allies.
E.D.E.N is a social enterprise based in Sheffield, teaching the LGBT+ community camera and film skills. They are currently running the E.D.E.N Shorts project and they will be running transgender film festival Transforming Cinema in Sheffield 19-20 November.

The Friends of Edward Carpenter are a group of people who are dedicated to establishing a permanent memorial to Edward Carpenter in Sheffield City Centre, recognising his historical and social importance and unique association with the city.
